MUDRA | MANTRA | MEDITATION | MOVEMENT
FOR THE YAMAS AND NIYAMAS
In this interactive class you’ll learn how to creatively set intentions for your classes and home practice by interweaving the Yamas and Niayamas through mudras, mantra, meditation and movement. We’ll talk about how these ancient principles of yoga can deepen any style of yoga practice and explore why they are not only applicable to modern culture, they are essential for creating peace and harmony.
The Yamas and Niyamas are:
Ahimsa, Satya, Astheya, Brahmacharya, Aparigraha, Saucha, Santosha, Tapas, Swadhaya, Ishvara Pranidhana
Nonviolence/Compassion, Truthfulness/Integrity, Non-stealing/Honesty, Non-Excess/Moderation, Non-Possessiveness/Generosity, Purity, Contentment, Self Discipline, Self-Study, Surrender
