A weekly practice rooted in yoga therapy, breathwork and somatic movement
Live-online trauma-informed classes — for nervous system regulation, anxiety, and chronic stress.
Regulation develops through practice.
Steadiness is built through practice. It develops gradually — through returning, through showing up again. These classes are designed to support that process: a consistent, structured space to come back to each week, wherever you are and whatever the week has brought.
Create continuity in your practice.
Two practices. Meeting you where you are.
Two classes draw from complementary approaches — each supporting regulation in a different way.
THERAPEUTIC HATHA YOGA

Who you’ll be practicing with
I am Katlin Robinson, a C-IAYT certified yoga therapist specialising in nervous system regulation through yoga therapy, breathwork and somatic movement. I bring close to a decade of therapeutic practice, and formal C-IAYT certification, to every class — I've been teaching yoga for over 13-years and have worked as a yoga therapist since 2015. I have also co-authored a book chapter on integrating body-based practices into emotionally focused therapy, published by the American Psychological Association.
These classes are shaped by the same principles that guide my one-to-one work - regulation builds gradually, the body is always the starting point, and showing up — even imperfectly — is enough.

FAQ: Online Trauma-informed Yoga & Nervous System Regulation
-
Hatha yoga is a classic, all-levels practice combining movement, breathwork, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. Somatic movement for nervous system regulation focuses on slow, mindful movement and breath awareness specifically designed to regulate and rewire the nervous system. Both are trauma-informed. Together they form a complementary weekly practice for nervous system regulation and embodied awareness.
In practice, Hatha classes tend to include more traditional yoga postures and sequences, and offer 75 minutes that include time for breath practice and contemplation. Somatic movement classes are slower and more internally focused — the emphasis is on coordinating movement with breath to release deep tension and support nervous system regulation. Both classes suit all levels and include modifications.

Yes. Online yoga therapy classes are effective for nervous system regulation and anxiety. The practices — breathwork, somatic movement, guided meditation, and deep relaxation — work regardless of location. Many people find that practicing from home supports the calm, attentive environment this work benefits from. Live classes with replays are available throughout the week.
The core practices in these classes — somatic movement, breathwork, embodied awareness, and guided relaxation — do not require in-person attendance to be effective. Working from your own space can support the kind of quiet, inward attention the practices are cultivating. Classes are live, which means there is a teacher present and responsive, and available after class if you have any questions or need additional support. If you miss a class you can catch-up, or incorporate additional classes throughout the week, by accessing the growing library of recorded classes.
-
Yes. No yoga experience is needed. Both Hatha yoga and somatic movement classes are all-levels and trauma-informed, with modifications offered throughout. These classes are not about fitness or flexibility — they are about learning to listen inward and build nervous system regulation through gentle, embodied practice.
Many people who join these classes have little or no yoga background. The focus is on body awareness, breath, and nervous system regulation — not on postures or performance. You do not need to be flexible, physically fit, or familiar with yoga terminology. We begin with who is here, at a pace that honours your body and capacity.
