The best way for social media to support your business/services is to have a strategy. The four main components for developing your strategy are:

1.         Get to know and engage your tribe

Who are they, what is their life like, what are their hopes, dreams and pain points? What content are they searching? How might they find you on your platforms?

2.         Deliver high value content that is aligned with your tribe’s needs/pain points/dreams

What need do you fill and how can your message deliver on that? What role will you fill – are you “the expert”, “the best friend with great advice”, “the influencer”? How often can you connect with your online community?

3.        Create consistent and clear visuals and brand persona (brand story)

Who are you and what is the story you want to tell? Why does your tribe love YOU and want to ”follow” you? What visuals best represent your brand and are consistent with your existing brand imagery?

NOTE: Developing a brand persona is not graphic design (this is an option for additional cost). Rather it is looking at existing or potential images and content and making sure they are visually consistent and being delivered in a consistent way.

4.         Position each channel so it working for you in its own unique way. The right message in the right locations!

What tools for promotion can you manage consistently? How do these work together to drive your business? Each channel serves its own purpose in your social media strategy but they work as a team cross promoting and funnel into a clear strategy for sales.
