Trauma changes how we show-up in the World. Often people feel they have lost themselves or never felt they fit into the World. The foundation of Yoga for trauma are tools to rewire your nervous system. This creates mental space and supports your ability to realign your relationship with your Self and the World.
One-on-one Support (in-person or online)
Over and over people come to me having been told they should try yoga to support emotional health. They try and class and feel shame or triggered and this exacerbates a feeling that their is something “wrong” with them. Not all Yoga is the same and not all classes / teachers are right for everyone. This is where personalized yoga sessions can help.
One-on-one session are collaborative and unique to each individual. Practices are similar to group classes and workshops, but customized to your unique circumstance and needs. We start where you’re at and move at your pace. We consider what you find most helpful and what doesn’t.
