I recently completed the Trauma Informed Yoga teacher training program offered by Katlin Robinson. It was spectacular and exceeded all my expectations tenfold! The content was extremely well presented and so topical and needed in these strange Covid times.
Katlin is very knowledgeable in this area and was also a wealth of information on additional resources we may be interested in following up with. The subject matter is quite intense and Katlin provided a very well thought out program which was divided into appropriate, manageable modules.
Katlin has a very charming teaching style; she always ensured that there was time for all our questions and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this course, and Katlin as an instructor, for all yoga teachers that are interested in enhancing their teaching style and expanding how to teach in a more inclusive, sensitive way. ~ Sara Ellis

"Katlin lives and breathes her yoga practice and teachings. She is so approachable, exudes warmth, and makes you feel at “home”. At the beginning of each session, we practiced breathing and chanting together to center and ground ourselves. Each module was carefully planned out as to not overwhelm us. The training offered a great balance of subject material learned over PowerPoint and yoga related practices. We were offered time for breaks and reflection. Our physical practices online together turned out to be a wonderful experience, despite my reservations initially.
Katlin’s experience in teaching was evident throughout the course, and her knowledge of mental health and trauma is extensive! She always gave examples and made sure the content was understood by all. Our homework was very manageable and not time intensive.
I would recommend this training to anyone who not only wants to learn about this subject, but to be a teacher with better awareness and compassion for their students. I feel I have upped my game as an instructor because of this training, offering more options, incorporating trauma informed language in my teachings, and having a better understanding of the emotional needs of my students.
I would definitely do another training with Katlin, and look forward to an in-person learning experience with her! ~ Jenny Hauser

Katlin is incredibly knowledgeable on the subject and is a gifted and gracious teacher. This training is perfect for anyone wanting to teach regular group classes to under-serviced and traumatized populations.
